i hate those people that almost cause an accident and then call the other one the moron.
had it yesterday, i was coming out of an alley, nothing on the road so i pull out. suddenly this guy on a scooter shoots around the corner giving me a scare and making me evade. The guy actually starts shouting and calling me names.
So i do what every smart man does in this situation. i flip him the bird.

what does the guy do??? he starts kicking my fcking car!

at that point i just rammed him so hard he fell of his scooter. and drove on..

yea some people are just natural born idiot drivers

like for example, while i was in France visiting, there was this guy on a ATV driving down the street, and he clipped this guys car, then the guy decides to drive away FAST, because most likely he doesn't have insurance. Then the guy whose car got clipped started to chase him. they went down some back alley, then about 5 minutes later i heard tires screeching down the street and the guy on the ATV nearly ran me and my dad over (he was on 2 wheels) about 10 minutes later i saw the same stupid idiot being arresting by a cop for probably endangering the public with this stupid decision of hit and run.

Include morons who keep their full beam headlights on at night while driving on the motorway in my hate list. Especially those with the xenon headlights.

Continuing with Old Dood's comment on vehicle-splashing, I was driving down the road during a particularly heavy storm. We're in the middle lane of a 3-lane surface street. Had a guy in his Ford Expedition come barreling down the right-hand lane, throwing all the water that had accumulated in the gutter over the TOP of my car. Literally blinded me for 3 seconds. In that time he overtook the guy in front of me, which blinded HIM. The guy in front of me slows down, and I almost rear-end him because I can't SEE him because of the splash-wash from SUV-dude.

I don't like it when I see people, who have no idea how to drive in the snow or heavy rain, speeding by on the freeway in a storm.

Yup! Just drove home from work....first snow storm of the year. Not a big one...but, people are so stoopid on the first few snows when it comes to driving in it. I checked the net before leaving work to see what wrecks were out there...took a deep breath, warmed up my car, dusted it off...an away I went. I groaned at the hot spots that I knew I had to get through. I try to keep distance between the next car ahead of me...but that is fruitless. There is always someone more important then me that will jam themselves in that slot.

Lane Weasels: This is where it gets scary. When you have 3 or more lanes on the freeway and then you come to the part when it goes down back to 2 lanes. People are just so selfish they think they can just fly up there and squeeze themselves in. I made sure today I straddled the lanes forcing them behind me. I can't stand these people....where are they going to go? One or two cars ahead of the pack? This is where the accidents happen. I drove by over 8 fender benders because of Lane Weasels!

... speaking of Lane Weasels ... how about those times when you're stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic when you notice someone cutting ahead by driving on the shoulder. I once straddled the shoulder just to cut one of them off and the guy actually had the nerve to act appalled that I cut him off!

Now that's one occasion where I LOVE truckers. They'll scoot over and squeeze jerks like that and force them back onto the road.

True Aracos79! I meant to point that out. When there is a wreck up ahead...Truckers will band together to keep the cars from causing more problems by weasling in and out of lanes.

For the record I mentioned cars/SUVs not saying anything specific about SUVs on this occasion.

When it is raining hard or there is frost on the road so it's like an ice rink you try and keep plenty of distance in front for braking space. Some n00b always cuts in and fills that gap like a moron and so you have to brake and make a gap and then another n00b (or b|t*h is a better word) comes in :/

You just need to take a look at how some of these n00bs walk. If they bump into people, cut people off and do general idiotic things chances are they'll be just as inconsiderate on the road.

LOL

There should be regular re-testing to keep your license IMHO. Like every 3 years. That would make people be more careful since:
-it would be expensive to fail and re-take the test
-it would leave you without a licence until you pass again
-so you would be less likely to develop bad habits
-making bad habits would increase the chance of failing next time
-revenue from test fees can go into better research of driving assesment/training

I'm sure there are a bunch of other arguments for this. In some European countries you have to regularly get re-tested when you pass a certain age > ~65 IIRC.

Default Stone Chips!! GRRR!

Well I am resurrecting my old thread and not starting a new one.

Driving to work yesterday...it was dark...rainy...hard too see. What do I hear? A TWACK on my windshield...and before I could get the words "God Damn it..." out of my mouth....I heard another TWACK!
There was a truck two lanes over that threw those stones. I get to work and see a nice stone chip in my windshield. This windshield is not even a year old. I replaced it right before I dropped this car off of collision on my insurance.

So I call the Glass Company to see if they could come out that day and fix the chip. They did...it still cost me $60.00. Cheaper then a windshield. I have been pulled over for a small crack by a State Trooper before and I can't stand having my cars vulnerable to a pull-over by a cop. All my lights and everything is working on my cars. Even those little side lights.

What insurance company do you have? Some will actually send a glass repair guy out to your car for free to repair small cracks.

I guess somebody figured out that repairing a small crack costs far less than replacing the entire windshield.

Only when you have collision coverage. I have PL & PD now on this car. It is a 94 Lesabre and it has almost 200K miles on it. (I have replaced 3 windshields via my insurance on this car already.) Not worth keeping full coverage now. However I am still going to try to keep it going until it reaches 300K miles. It can be done if you take care of your car. I am very religious on preventive maintenance. Also the good old 3.8 Liter is a solid engine and will last along time with proper care.
